Our GHS Choir members competed this Saturday for membership in the District and Region Mixed Choirs. We are excited to announce that ALL who auditioned were selected for membership in one of these prestigious ensembles, and six of our singers will advance to the third round of Texas All-State Choir Auditions! Congratulations to GHS Band! National Wind Band Honors 2024 National Winner, Mark of Excellence. The Mark of Excellence is a national concert band contest sponsored by the Foundation of Music Education. The Grapevine High School Wind Ensemble was selected as a National Winner of the Mark of Excellence for 2024. This award represents the highest level of achievement by a high school concert band at the national level and it's a tremendous honor to be selected! This award is a testament to the incredible dedication of our students, staff, lesson teachers, masterclass teachers, clinicians, middle school directors, and our band parents. We are so proud of everyone that has made this achievement and recognition possible for the first time in school history! Congratulations to all of the band members that participated in this recording!
