Personalized Programs
ASPIRE - The GCISD ASPIRE Academy is a self-contained, highly gifted academy where a supportive environment designed for the highly gifted allows for time with intellectual peers and opportunities for increased academic challenge.

AVID - Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is a 6th through 12th-grade elective course and school-wide support system designed to prepare students for college success.


Dual Language - The dual language program focuses on the students’ ability to speak, read and write in Spanish and English. It emphasizes challenging standards in the core content areas while enriching students’ development in both their first and second languages.


STEM - STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is a curricular program that integrates the concept of STEM across core content areas and electives where appropriate. Our program has a strong emphasis on engineering and design thinking.

Accountability

Most recently received the state's accountability rating of "B" in addition to receiving the ELA/Reading, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies distinction designations.
