By popular demand, Dove PTA is putting together a student directory to help our families and students better connect! All families will have access to the digital version - and PTA members will receive a printed copy!

This morning, the fire alarm was going off at GCISD's Transportation Building as bus drivers were arriving. The fire department is on the scene and staff is currently waiting for the all clear. However, all bus routes across the district will be delayed this morning. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
GCISD’s Nutrition Services is pleased to announce that parents can now download the MySchoolBucks app to make online prepayments on their child’s school meal account and view transactions. There is a $2.75 processing fee for each transaction.

Our next principal highlight in honor of Principals Month is Mrs. Landrum from Dove Elementary School. Her favorite part of her job is seeing the amazing teachers in action and watching the students work to reach their goals! Help us thank Mrs. Landrum for all she does by dropping a comment. #WeAreGCISD
Reminder: Monday, October 9, is a student and teacher holiday. This includes all schools except Collegiate Academy. The District office will remain open, and we will welcome everyone back to school on Tuesday, October 10. Enjoy the three-day weekend.
The Book Character Parade will be held October 27th! Costumes must be school appropriate and represent a character from a book. Each student will need to have a copy of the book their character is in. There are so many options in the library! Please start planning now to make sure the book your student needs is available!

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has announced a temporary delay in the release of 2023 A-F accountability ratings for all districts and campuses across the State of Texas. The ratings were originally scheduled for release on September 28 and will now be delayed by approximately one month, according to the TEA’s press release.

Raptor visitor management system is experiencing a system-wide service interruption. The vendor is working to get the issue resolved as soon as possible. Free and Reduced Lunch Applications - Deadline September 27th
The grace period for receiving breakfast and lunch on last year's free and reduced status will end on September 27th. If you have not completed the application for the 23-24 school year by the 27th you will no longer receive free or reduced priced meals.
Please visit www.nlappscloud.com to complete this application for the 23-24 school year before 9/27/23. We'd love to help you with this matter so your child(ren) does not lose their free or reduced lunch status.
