About the Nurse:
Ruth Shook, BSN, RN
I received my BSN from UTA School of Nursing and certification as a pediatric nurse by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). I have been with GCISD for 26 years at Bear Creek Elementary, Grapevine Elementary, and now at Grapevine High School.
What motivates you to do what you do as a nurse each and every day?
Everyone has life or health challenges. I am very grateful to be a school nurse and to help students with these challenges make the most of their life and educational opportunities.
