The Grapevine High School Oral Interpretation team is a nationally recognized squad which travels across the country competing in acting and speaking events ranging from humorous to dramatic. Our squad competes at three levels of competition through the University Interscholastic League (UIL), Texas Forensic Association (TFA), and the National Speech and Debate Association. Each level offers students a unique opportunity to compete in events through interpretation of literature and public address/oratory. These events allow students the chance to explore literature, differing perspectives, individual experiences, and world issues. Student voice is the center piece of these events and helps develop a sense of empathy, understanding and appreciation within student participates.
